India Defeats Afghanistan in Third T20I

India defeated Afghanistan by 10 wickets in the third T20I match played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Batting first, Afghanistan scored 154/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Ibrahim Zadran top-scored for Afghanistan with 50 runs off 34 balls, while Najibullah Zadran contributed 34 runs off 21 balls. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2/28, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin claimed one wicket each.
In response, India chased down the target with ease, reaching 155/0 in just 17.3 overs. Virat Kohli (82* off 53 balls) and KL Rahul (62* off 41 balls) remained unbeaten to guide India to a comfortable victory.
With this win, India has taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. The fourth T20I will be played at the same venue on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
